A Spooky Morning Maternity Session at Littlefield House in Austin, Texas

Some locations have a personality all their own, and Littlefield House is one of them.

We met in the early morning for this maternity session at Littlefield House in Austin, Texas. The grounds were quiet, the sky was dripping in golden warmth like honey, and the historic home created the perfect backdrop for something a little moodier and more romantic. Between the red brick, iron railings, and Victorian architecture, it felt like we had stepped into another era.

The vision for this session was soft and haunting with a touch of old-world charm. Her flowing floral dress paired beautifully with the historic home, and the misty morning light gave everything a dreamy quality. We embraced movement and intentional blur throughout the session, which made the images feel almost like scenes from a film.

One of my favorite details was incorporating ultrasound photos into a few images. There was something so special about documenting this season of waiting while surrounded by a place that already feels full of stories.

Littlefield House is one of my favorite locations for maternity photography in Austin. The architecture creates such a unique atmosphere, especially in the early morning before the city wakes up. If you love historic homes, vintage details, and imagery that feels a little mysterious, this location is hard to beat.

This session had all the things I love most: quiet moments, beautiful architecture, soft movement, and just enough spooky vibes to make it feel like a page from a gothic novel.
