When you’re a maternity photographer living in Georgetown, Texas, you get to experience a little bit of everything; from sweeping Hill Country views to intimate golden light that feels like it’s wrapping the entire world in warmth. This session was a perfect example of that magic.

Our original location was unexpectedly closed the day of the shoot, so we pivoted to a new spot I had recently scouted and honestly, I’m so glad we did. The view opened up to a rugged Texas horizon, tall grasses catching the sunset, and the softest light reflecting off the hills. It turned out to be one of the dreamiest backdrops I’ve photographed all season.

This couple brought their three golden retrievers, and they absolutely stole the show. Their tails were wagging, their were tongues out, and they were completely in love with their soon-to-arrive baby sibling. Every photo felt like a little piece of Texas life; cozy, candid, and full of sunshine.

These clients booked my largest package, which includes a full gallery of images and a cinematic maternity film. The video captured everything from slow, tender moments between the parents to playful scenes with the dogs exploring the golden fields. It’s the kind of memory that only grows more meaningful with time, especially when shared with their little one someday.
